SUNDAY, JANUARY 22nd From 12PM-2PM: INTERFAITH VIGIL

Please join members of the Temple of the Waters as we stand in prayerful solidarity with Ohlone leaders in efforts to protect the West Berkeley Shellmound, the Oldest Ohlone Sacred Site.  Below are words from Corrina Gould, Chocheyno and Karkin Ohlone leader calling us to prayer;

"As we move into a new year we call on our ancestors to come and to be with us. Please honor the Ancestors of this land by bringing your prayers, good wishes for the new year and prayers for the miracle of saving this Sacred Site. We are welcome of all Faith leaders that wish to offer words and are looking for a small sound system so we can hear above the train and traffic. We look forward to seeing you there.

The Shellmound is on the corner of 4th and Hearst St in West Berkeley.  Check out the FB page for more info.

SUNDAY, JULY 10TH AT 1PM: PRAYER CIRCLE

On Sunday we will gather for a healing circle. In the face of the recent murders of black and brown people we will gather together to pray for justice and reflect on how we can act and organize to resist this horrific violence. Join The Temple of the Waters for an earth centered co-created interfaith prayer service on Sunday in Emeryville. Please bring your prayers, words you'd like to share, songs, and organizing ideas.

Email monk@templeofthewaters.org for the location.

We recognize that we will gather on unceded Chocheyno Ohlone land. We honor the ancestors of this land and are committed to ongoing solidarity with their descendants.
