okay team!  here comes the scans, and here comes you with your hearts and your prayers and your faith.  you are hereby invited, encouraged and persuaded to implore our Creator and yours through the glorious intercessor(s) of your choice to Work This Miracle.

we always give thanks to start, and we always surrender to the will of the Divine to close, and in between there we are pounding our fists on the doors of the One, asking for this boon to be granted.  and so let us do that, this wonderful work, this work of wonder, in this world filled with awe.   with humility, with patience, and with the beloved fire of a 10-month-old tugging on a pants leg, who Just Knows that if he does it long enough, his burden will be lifted from him, and he will be brought to a higher place.

here's a clipping from a book i was reading, with this highly intriguing protagonist (i think it's gonna be a big hit with the beyond-all-help crowd):

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’

4 “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”

6 And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”, it's unclear to me if what we're praying for here is justice or not.  but what's perfectly clear is what we Are praying for...
